‘Tis Christmas Season

The holiday season has officially begun.

People are decorating their homes, stocking their larders with winter treats, drawing up lists of must-watch Christmas movies, and planning outings with loved ones. If you’re looking for a little something to enliven your Yuletide cultural menu, I’ll be teaching “‘Twas the Stories that Made Christmas” at the Brooklyn Brainery on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. We’ll discuss how authors–including several from New York City–shaped our American holiday traditions.

I hope that you’ll join us or sign up for another seasonally appropriate (and fun!) class at the Brainery. It might help you remember why this time of year is special.
